Introduction of solar installations and green solutions across public buildings and spaces to enhance energy efficiency and environmental rejuvenation. The project includes solar power plants, green roofs, and vertical gardens at key sites such as the National Theatre in Užice, the Regional Training Centre for Dual Education, a sports hall in Bajina Bašta, the Agricultural School in Požega, and the office building of Communal Public Enterprise "Zlatibor". The initiative aims to significantly reduce the area's carbon footprint and includes educational programmes and capacity-building activities to embed sustainable practices within the community. By benefiting over 110,000 citizens, the project fosters a broad understanding of green transitions and demonstrates the tangible benefits of integrating renewable energy into public infrastructure. The entrepreneur is engaged in the production of homemade jams and other traditional sweets with a records a steady increase in sales. They will utilise the grant to procure production and processing equipment in order to increase the production capacity, improve the quality of products and create one new job. The entrepreneur will be conducting corporate social responsibility activities that include the donation of products to the local school and holding workshops for school children on the traditional methods of food preparation.

Provision of a back-up server for the e-permitting systemE-permitting |
Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.

The reconstruction of Sports and Culture Centre in Požega will include the replacement of joinery which will improve energy efficiency, renovation of the stage and provision of modern equipment, while the main entrance will be made accessible to people with disabilities. This will create conditions for the development and promotion of culture and sports and increase number and quality of the events and manifestations organised in Požega. Within good governance activities, the Rulebook on the use of the facilities and equipment will be prepared and adopted.
