Health in the Suburbs: A Small Practice, a Big Impact

When an investment in healthcare also creates new jobs—you know it’s EU support at work.

Thanks to 17,577 Euros of EU funding through the EU PRO Plus programme, the private practice of this experienced doctor from Leskovac procured an ultrasound device, a thermocautery, a surgical table, and a surgical reflector. The total investment of 22,850 Euros enabled the creation of two new jobs and significantly improved the quality and availability of healthcare services in the Jablanički District.

As a gesture of social responsibility, the practice also greened and equipped a primary school playground in a rural area—supporting healthier, happier childhoods.
