The Deputy Mayor of Trstenik, Dejan Rakovac, underlined the support of the EU to the municipality of Trstenik and added that the Health Centre reconstruction project is extremely important for the municipality.
"This project has significantly contributed to healthcare workers, but even more to our patients. Namely, the building is quite old and we waited a long time for the joinery replacement and improvement of energy efficiency because the building could not be heated in the winter and could not be cooled in the summer. Also, horizontal therapy is an important donation because our patients now have this type of health service with a wide range of treatment of patients", said the director of the Trstenik Health Center Žaklina Ristić.
She also said that the donation of a new ambulance that the emergency service received contributed to safer and faster transport of patients.
