Pulmonary Disease and Tuberculosis Treatment Clinic in Užice: A New Breath of Life

Thanks to the support of the European Union through the EU PRO Plus programme and the strong commitment of the City of Užice to provide better healthcare services, the Pulmonary disease and tuberculosis treatment clinic has been fully reconstructed.

Originally built in the 1960s, this facility now serves as a key institution for both primary and secondary healthcare in the entire Zlatiborski District. The total value of the project amounts to 439,831 Euros, with 179,372 Euros provided by the European Union and the remainder co-funded from national and local sources.

Take a look at how the reconstruction unfolded over the course of two years.

This initiative is part of 37 local infrastructure projects across Šumadija and Western Serbia, and Southern and Eastern Serbia, funded by the EU through the EU PRO Plus Programme with nearly six million Euros. These projects are improving the quality of life by upgrading educational, healthcare, and social welfare institutions, as well as sports and cultural facilities, public administration buildings, and communal services.
