The bridge in Vrnjačka Banja was damaged in the floods of 2020 and completely collapsed in the floods of 2023, thus suspending the traffic on the road on which the bridge is located - Boleta Jankovića Reka. The project envisages the construction of a new 13-metre long bridge with pedestrian paths on both sides to enable safe pedestrian and road traffic for 2,000 inhabitants of Novi Selo, Rsavaci and the surrounding villages in the municipality.

The entrepreneur is engaged in the production of PVC and aluminium carpentry. A semi-automatic and automatic double head mitre saws for PVC & aluminium will be procured through the grant in order to improve the productivity and quality of final products. This investment will lead to the immediate creation of two and subsequent creation of another two jobs. The entrepreneur will be conducting diverse corporate social responsibility activities that include the replacement of doors and windows in the local school, as well as provision of scholarships to employees’ children.

The construction material (behaton, concrete tubes and sidewalks) production micro enterprise will procure new production equipment and a robot for manipulation of massive products. The production currently employs seven workers while resulting job creation is three immediate posts and additional two within a three-year period. The proposed CSR activity envisages paving the yards of educational and social institutions in the community, or financial donation to the local organisation of the Red Cross.

Provision of a back-up server for the e-permitting systemE-permitting |
Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.
