Introduction of solar installations and green solutions across public buildings and spaces to enhance energy efficiency and environmental rejuvenation. The project includes solar power plants, green roofs, and vertical gardens at key sites such as the National Theatre in Užice, the Regional Training Centre for Dual Education, a sports hall in Bajina Bašta, the Agricultural School in Požega, and the office building of Communal Public Enterprise "Zlatibor". The initiative aims to significantly reduce the area's carbon footprint and includes educational programmes and capacity-building activities to embed sustainable practices within the community. By benefiting over 110,000 citizens, the project fosters a broad understanding of green transitions and demonstrates the tangible benefits of integrating renewable energy into public infrastructure.

Designed to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs in metal industry the project envisages the development of a toolkit for innovative models of presentation at international fairs. Although primarily developed for nine West Metal Group cluster members, the model will afterwards be available to all SMEs in the region. The project will also secure fulfilment of the preconditions for successful penetration of new markets through process of implementation/certification/recertification of relevant standards in all cluster members. Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.

The reconstruction of the heating and ventilation system and the replacement of joinery will provide better conditions for both theatre staff and audience, while contributing to the establishment of a sustainable, energy efficient system in this public cultural building. Additionally, the pollution from heating plants, one of the main problems of Užice during wintertime and heating costs will be reduced.
