The enterprise produces gluten free rice cakes and will invest in a machine for packaging chips in order to commence production of rice chips. The market potential of this enterprise is significant as it has virtually no competition when it comes to these kind of chips. This investment will lead to the immediate creation of two new jobs and two more in the long term. The enterprise will conduct corporate social responsibility activities which will include charity contributions from each product sold.

The enterprise is engaged in the production of mini excavators and mini loaders, as well as sales and repairs of hydraulic components. The grant will be utilised to procure a new CNC machine in order to improve the production process and increase productivity. This will lead to the immediate creation of two new jobs and another two in the long term. The enterprise will implement corporate social responsibility activities that include the provision of vocational trainings to students of the local Technical High School.

The enterprise is engaged in the production of parts for wooden furniture. Two main products are wooden legs and wooden flatboards for tables and entire produced quantities are being exported to Denmark and Singapore. The grant will be utilised to procure a wood dryer which will complete the production cycle, reduce waste, reduce the cost of products and remove bottlenecks in production. This will lead to the immediate creation of four new jobs and another five in the long term. The enterprise will be implementing corporate social responsibility activities which will include financial contributions for equipping a local school and an awareness raising campaign for acting in emergency situations in cooperation with the local Red Cross.

The enterprise produces duct tape used primarily in the construction industry. Through the grant, a machine that will enable the production of tape in line with current standards will be procured. This will lead to the immediate creation of two new jobs and another two in the long term. The enterprise will be conducting corporate social responsibility activities which include the donation of material for the reconstruction of a local school.

The construction of the access road, sewage network and street lighting in the new section of the zone will improve the conditions for doing business for the existing as well as for the new investors and enable new jobs, thus improving the overall quality of life and the living standards for the Paraćin population.

Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.

Contributing to better management of the resources and investments in the municipality of Paraćin and to higher efficiency and quality of services provided to citizens and business, towards building the status of a smart city. The efficient system of data management and communication refers to specific sectors of spatial planning, valorisation of cultural and urban heritage, tourist resources, public property and economic potentials for attraction of investments.
