The entrepreneur is engaged in production and sale of women's and men's clothes and provision of sewing service for other customers. The grant will be used to procure sewing machines and equipment in order to initiate the production of their own brand of clothes, which will increase production and enable the creation of four new immediate jobs and 13 more in the long run. The entrepreneur will be conducting corporate social responsibility activities which will include educational workshops for local children, donation of clothes to children from low income families and provision of clothes and jerseys to the local sports association and kennel society.

The enterprise is engaged in production of steel structures, hoists, hydraulic and process equipment. Apart from the domestic market, their products are sold in Montenegro, Macedonia and Sri Lanka. The grant will be utilised for the procurement of certified professional welding equipment in line with all the relevant standards, which will lead to the immediate creation of three new jobs and another two in the long term. The enterprise will be implementing corporate social responsibility activities aimed at raising public awareness about the need for waste management, and donating products to the municipal public utility company.

The food (bread, pastry and cakes) production entrepreneur will procure a new oven and other equipment for dough processing and storing in order to improve business with a new type of product. The production currently employs four workers while resulting job creation is three immediate posts. The proposed CSR activity envisages donation of 500 packages of bakery products to the Centre for Youth Education in Knjaževac every weekend throughout the year amounting to 6,000 food packages in total.

The textile (clothing with ethno motives) production entrepreneur will procure new ironing equipment and sewing machines in order to increase efficiency, productivity and product quality, while a new type of products would be introduced. The production currently employs six workers while immediate job creation is one new job and additional two within a three-year period. The proposed CSR activity envisages financial support to the choir of the Primary School "Vuk Karadžić" in Knjaževac.

Developing technical documentation for the reconstruction of a building of the Rgošte village school in the Knjaževac municipality, will create conditions for setting up a Training/Start-up centre for the food-processing industry, which will enable the acquisition of the knowledge and skills necessary for dealing with fruit and vegetable processing.

Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.

The renovation of the open-air stage of the Gurgusovac Tower in Knjaževac, including installation of stage equipment, will provide better functioning of the facility and improve the cultural and tourist offer in Knjaževac. Additionally, within good governance activities, the selection of the Programme for the 58th Serbian Youth Culture Festival, organised on this stage and visited every year by 15,000 people, will be developed in the participative process.

Human Security: Improve the security and fire protection in Roma settlements through trainings, provision of fire extinguishers and establishment of volunteer firefighting associations in five municipalities covered by the project.

Introduction of corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices in Knjaževac Municipality through development of tools for implementation, application and institutionalisation of the CSR activities for vulnerable groups.

The development of the main design for the construction of the Commercial Building in Knjaževac Municipality to house five-eight local craft and small business from Knjaževac with adequate space for doing business. Besides the income generated from the souvenir retail the building will be leased and the rent will contribute to municipal budget.

The development of the main design for the construction of the campsite “Banjica” aims to increase the local tourism to the level of significant economic activity in the region.
