The Modification of the Detailed Regulation Plan of the Business Zone Beleš should create planning conditions for the infrastructural equipping of the extended zone that will satisfy the requirements of future investors who will be obligated to construct buildings and perform business activities, consequently creating new jobs. The planned expansion of approximately 12.5 ha will double the industrial area.

Improvement of the electronic system for the issuance of building permits through the provision of a back-up server, which will enhance its stability and availability for over 6,500 users that benefit from it every day. Server and network equipment were procured through the project, as well as necessary licences. The aim of this activity was to contribute to the creation of a more favourable business environment by improving the efficiency and transparency of the e-government and, ultimatively, to new investments. At the same time, citizens’ trust in institutions, as well as the quality of services that are being offered through the e-government will also be enhanced.

The reconstruction of the auxiliary and administrative premises within the sports centre in Dimitrovgrad will create favourable conditions for practising sport and organisation of various sports and cultural events. Over 480 people actively practicing sports, as well as sports clubs and associations, will be provided with locker rooms, facilities for storing equipment, administrative premises, etc. while through good governance activities the Municipal Sport Development Plan for period 2019-2021 will be developed.

Economic empowerment of unemployed people (mostly women) from rural areas in Babušnica and Dimitrovgrad municipalities through training and equipping them to commence organic farming. Additionally, the placement of their products will be secured through development and promotion of corporate gifts.
