CREST - Cultural Revival for an Enriched Sumadija Tourism: Creating an Integrated and Innovative Regional Tourism Offer

Enhancement of regional tourism in Aranđelovac, Topola, Knić, and Rača through significant infrastructure upgrades and digital integrations at key historical sites. The project includes constructing the "Risovača Cave" Visitor-Educational Centre in Aranđelovac, reconstructing the King's Winery in Topola, renovating the House of Culture in Borač in Knić, and arranging Petrovi dvori in Viševac (Rača). By equipping these sites with advanced technology, the initiative aims to improve tourism infrastructure. Emphasis is placed on staff training and developing new tourism products to enrich the visitor experience. The project aims to attract more visitors and benefit the local economy, directly impacting 1,500 professionals and indirectly serving over 80,000 people, transforming the region into a distinguished tourism destination. Construction of the bridge over the Krčmara River

Rehabilitation of flood-affected infrastructure

Aftter being damaged in the floods of 2014 and 2018 the bridge in Rača was completely ruined in the 2023 floods which suspended the traffic on this road. The project envisages the construction of a new 13-metre long bridge with pedestrian paths on both sides to ensure safe pedestrian and road traffic for all residents of Rača, and in particular for 735 residents of the villages of Veliko Krčmare and Jarošice that have to use the bypass road in a length of 13 km.
