Objective: To enhance the quality of life of the population in 99 self-local governments through improvement of public infrastructure facilities with special attention to improving living conditions of the vulnerable groups, as well as the recovery from Covid-19.

Total Indicative Budget: 3,420,000 Euros for at least 30 individual projects

Amount to be awarded per individual project: from 42,000 to 170,000 Euros [1]

Eligibility Criteria: 99 local self-governments from Šumadija and Western Serbia and Southern and Eastern Serbia are eligible to apply for the Call, independently or in partnership with other local self-governments and / or public enterprises and institutions.

Scope: The Call is open for projects that will enhance the functionality of existing or construction of missing public infrastructure that will improve health, social care, education, culture and public administration facilities, as well as communal and sports infrastructure.

The Call may include, but is not limited to the following types of interventions:

• Enhancing energy efficiency in public buildings

• Improving accessibility of public infrastructure

• Bettering and protecting of the environment

• Advancing urban mobility

• Expanding the scope or improving existing public services.

Beneficiaries: Direct beneficiaries of the Call are all recipients and providers of services that are subjects of infrastructure interventions, while the final beneficiaries are all inhabitants of local self-governments where the activities will be implemented.
